Magazine fed Paintball Sniper Rifle
After about 2 years, I've finally started to get this baby together. Its an ultra low pressure, magazine fed Sniper rifle. Here's a pic:
I still have to get the magazine holder machined and refined. But I'm closer. The magazine will hole 12 rounds contained within aluminum sleeves. This will allow for reliable feeding and a sleeve will kick out after each shot. the grip is a stock A-5 grip to save costs. the barrel is cocker threaded 16" with a 24" sheath with baffles.
It will be much like my first sniper rifle:
It will operate at 75psi, and will fire standard paintballs, First Strike Rounds and Sniper Rounds. It will be amazingly quite. and add in the sound suppressing barrel and its completely silent at 30 ft. It will also be fully mechanical. I could do an electric version, but with something like this, I think not having to worry about batteries or turning it on would be best. It has an air through stock but will also allow a CO2 tank ASA under the barrel. This would allow for a shorter overall marker.
Any thoughts on how to make better are welcome.. and if you'd like to help us get it made faster, you can help by supporting our Indiegogo.com page:

Can you provide any details on how it operates like a cutaway image or animation?
What kind of efficiency does it have?

I'll see if I can get cutaways of how it works... It takes a long time to make the frames and put it all together... animation isn't my strong point..

That's the biggest downside. I have not been able to come up with a better option to reliably feed both Sniper Rounds and First Strike. And in volumne the sleeves would be dirt cheap and eventually made out of plastic to make them as cheap as a paintball. I'd just leave then where they land..

Nothing fancy needed. A simple paint drawing and description will work for most in this part of the forum.

OK. Here is the animation of how it works. I'm just showing the firing system. I haven't CAD'ed the sleeve kickout mech. Its based in the old Warmachine Assault. But i've made improvements to make it faster and quieter....
and here is a really good anim of the old Assault

Nice work! I think a bag catch could solve the cartridge problem

OK, so I have three guys that are finishing the parts I can't do. I'll hopefully be completing the rest of the parts this weekend. I'm determined to get this done. I'll post some more pics when I have the marker more assembled..

My designer and machinist weren't able to continue work on it. Its on hold until I can find someone to assist in the sleeve kickout mech.... We'll see how long it takes to find someone....
