After a several year break and selling my powder blue pilot, I am once again the owner of a Spyder product, and I must say, it is shiny.
Got an 09 Electra, and everything seems to be in order. I should have some air tomorrow to make sure, but until then just stripping and making sure it's clean and lubed. I have a couple of questions that were not easy to find in search, or were in threads of loooooong ago, so...
First question, though i think I know the answer; does Kingman mark refurb's with an R, stamped in the metal frame, by the name/above the trigger?
Next, I know the Electra doesn't need too many upgrades, but are the Alamo City delrin strikers a decent upgrade, or the Ti, such as the one italiancustom
is trying to sell?
Last, and i am fairly sure of the answer to this as well, but blue board=stock, correct?
I found several threads for other things, like adding o-rings to the bolt, boring the valve, and shaving the coil set pin for 9V (though I'll probably just get a rechargeable). If any of you Spyder gurus think of anything else (especially cheap/free with work), let me know.
