Smaller shift inserts
Hi All
I read somewhere on here that Macdev will make smaller inserts if enough people are interested. Round here the most commonly available paint, which is not bad besides for the size, rolls through the .681 insert.
So, let's show the guys from Macdev how many of us would really like smaller inserts.

At this stage it's still pretty much wishfull thinking, but I'm sure with enough interest Macdev could be persuaded.

I'd like a .679 but I'm satisfied with the .681 for now.

I doubt highly that they will be making any smaller inserts. I bugged them forever to make smaller inserts, made several threads on here. They finally came out with the 681. I was told that because they have to completly re-tool their machine that they wont do it.
I want macdev to pay more attention to the quality controll on the inserts as I have several with machining marks internaly that I can feel with my fingers, and have tips that don't fit all my inserts. I would love 3 more sizes, .679. .677, and .675, but I am not holding my breath. My DW barrel gets the job done.

I agree...I have two inserts from my barrel kit that don't fit into my new GT barrel back and one that the barrel tip wont screw onto.
Also my standard barrel insert that came with my GT had no numbers etched onto it at all....so I just presume that it is a .791
It would be nice to have some smaller inserts as the Dye paint that I use seems to be getting smaller and smaller and now rolls through my .681
I dont really want to go out and get another barrel as I love the Shift, but it looks like I may have to if I want to bore correctly.

Okay so let's start preordering and by Christmas maybe we will have them in our stockings.
I love my shift kit and barrel it just seems all the paint is so small anymore. Ordered .677 and 675 insert never thought I'd need them
