For OP: If your geo 2.1 shoots while degassing, remove your reg. Where it screws onto the body there should be a small, golf tee looking white piece (called the pressure control valve, or PCV). Remove this, wipe it down and replace and see if that helps.

The PCV has a small hole through the middle so that it slows the release of gas in your marker, causing no shot when degassing.

For the other poster: On a Geo, Geo+, or Geo2 the PCV is located in the 90 degree macro fitting that connects to your HPR. Remove the elbow, wipe the PCV down, replace. Hopefully that will take care of both of your issues.

When I took my 2.05 apart, the golf tee top was broken off, lol. No shop had a replacement in stock, so I called PE directly and had to get it from them. FYI there are some Geo 2s that have the PCV in the body of the gun at the top of the Reg (the last ones before the 2.1 came out).....but like you said, in most of the 2s the PVC "golf tee" is in the reg elbow.
Mine:

It should be like this:

I know I need to take it out, How do I get it out? I looked in the manual and the picture did look a bit different and also said a 5/16th I think. I didnt have an allen key the size that the maunal said. I might need to find an allen key

I personally haven't seen a 2.1 so I don't know exactly how it fits. It shouldn't be screwed in I don't think. You could try a needle nose pliers, being careful not to mar the threads for the HPR.

A tubular box wrench should get the job done, with minimal risk of damaging the PCV in the process.

You could try an allen wrench, but you could risk damaging the PCV.

If you are still not sure, call PE at their Delaware office....call Jerry the head PE tech at 401-289-2832

Also realize that if you take out the PCV and clean everything, make sure the pin hole is not blocked.....the other thing you may have to do it to replace the spring behind the PCV.....one guy did everyhting and his marker kept shooting when degassed. He was at NPPL DC and the PE guys replaced the spring, that fixed the problem.

Alright thanks guys for the help. I went out and just picked up a 5/16ths allen wrench and taking it out and wiping it down did the trick! So if anyone needs this for the future, this will fix you up
