If your in canada take a look at INKA paint which is distributed by Badlands. INKA Gold is one of the best paints i have ever shot. Also, yes i am sponsored by badlands but have shot every paint on the market. I do like evil and marbs but for the price INKA Gold is as good or better than both for cheaper.

Avoid XO like the plague.
RPS Premium is usually a good ball but lately I feel like their quality has taken a nosedive. The last box of Premium I got was super oily and super small bore. Still shot decent but kind of disappointing.

Noxious was a new paint about 5 years ago.
Valken Crusade is great. Valken Redemption is the only thing I shoot when its available. I have to admit that I preferred the old Redemption, the zebra striped stuff, but the new Redemption is good too.
Formula 13 blows. Heat is hit or miss.
Premium isn't premium and I wouldn't pay for it, but it isn't the worst I've shot.

Evil paint is my favorite for tournaments, it shoots smooth and I've never had a break.

I need a high end paint that I can take to my field, they only sell and allow heat, yellow fill. I love using grafitti yellow, evil yellow, and all star yellow, but all three are too flouresent or highlighted looking and refs make me go back and fill up with the heat junk. I'm not a fan of premium or gi mislim, does anyone know of a good substitute high end paint that could pass for heat?

I use Premium and heat. The heat holds its shape better but doesn't break. I'd only buy premium if it was round. I think it just sat around my field too long.

I shoot both of these too. Your appraisal of Heat is bang on, the seams are so small on that paint, it flies really nice. Definitely my go-to choice for cheaper paint.
Premium Gold usually never lets me down, maybe you got an old case?

I'm sure the Premium was old. I love the breaking characteristics, but it was pitted pretty bad. The new premium they just got seems incredibly brittle. Everybody I played with this week had barrel breaks. VERY uncommon with Premium.
I think I'll go back to Heat :-)

I prefer RPS brand paint with premium and premium gold being my favorites. It is 45..40 with discount for a case of premi here in Houston. I avoid valken and draxxus paint because the few times I have used it I spent the majority of my day cleaning barrel breaks and oil coated eyes.

The only issues I've ever had with Valken is a number of years back when Redemption was new, I got a case that said "Tournament" on the box. It was complete trash. Looked like golf balls and played like ReBalls. The only place it broke was in my gun. Apart from that one box, all other Valken has been aces for me.

I like Graffiti. Shoots smoothly and accurately out of my G6r (Stock barrel).
I used to love marballizer for woodsball, but I've been hesitant to give it a shot ever since I started seeing it on the shelves at Academy sports and Wal-mart.
Also, when they've had it, it's been $80 a case, so screw that.
I picked up a discounted (read: OLD) case of premium for $40. Oily, and shot like CRAP. I've got a four month old bag of graffiti sitting right next to me that I'm going to use this weekend, so I'll let you guys know how it holds up.
