Seriously if it was WW3 and chemical weapons where in the atmosphere i would consider just taking my mask off. I hate chem gear that much. Once you wear a gas mask for four hours straight you never want to put one back on again. I feel bad for those desert storm 1 guys who had to fight the first part of the war wearing MOPP4.

so has anyone actually bought one of these full face gas mask like things yet and used it in the field? would love to get opinions about different ones. something like this would be amazing for a milsim match

Paintball changed for me twice in my life, when a close friend introduced me to pump play and cockers and when I went from woodsball with Tippmanns to tournament ball with my Bob Long Rapper and AKA Viking on the UW-Stout Team. I'm a better player thanks to both occurrences.

Any field that follows through with safe play would probably not allow it, since it is not ASTM certified. They also lack ear protection.

I posted a question about it in the Field Owners thread, and they straightened me out. Unless it is approved by ASTM for use in paintball,it ain't allowed period.

It would be cool, but only the powered versions would be comfortable nanyway. Big $.
