Ok i have a tippmann 98 which has been faithful to me for a long time. I play woodsball.

Recently i had the oportunity to play with the etha, my friends have a5's. I have not played with the x7 or ever seen the tm 15. The etha is really nice i like it very much. My problem is rain/water. We play under the rain we dont care. So my question is if it was you. Which one out of all them would you choose. Not because of looks. Reliability, durability etc...

Etha and then do your best to seal around those grips as best as you can

I've used orange liquid gasket and laid a bead of it around the outer inside edge of the grips and then let it dry after putting in a fresh battery. It worked great in 2 solid days of rain (this was on my DM5). When you go to open the grips, it just peels off, and then spend a couple minutes with a knife to clean it off.. really not hard at all

The etha, like most electronic markers made over 400 bucks are rain/water resistant and work perfectly fine in rain.

If you play a lot of woods in wet conditions, and want some of that milsim feel with the ability to add accessories and such, there's another option. The GOG G-1 is fully waterproof (well, the electronics, anyway). When it was brought out as the Smart Parts SP-1, there was a video of one being submerged in a swimming pool, and coming out firing.
