G3 IQ problem

I used my g3 perfectly last weekend and i took it out of the box to use it and it didnt work. I can sometimes here the clicking but then other times it wont. Some people that looked at it said they think its the solenoid. any ideas?

First, install a brand new battery. A nice one, like energizer or duracell. No cheap crap. Make sure it's brand new!

If that doesn't work, try resetting your regulator. Screw the adjustment all the way in, BUT NOT TOO TIGHT! Turn it just until you feel a little resistance, then stop.

Next, turn the gun on and turn the eyes off. While pulling the trigger, unscrew the reg adjuster until the gun cycles. Chrono and go play.

If the above doesn't work, you need to service your solenoid. It's not hard at all, here is a video on how to do it:

do the high lighted things first. if that doesnt work then try polishing up your trigger fang a little bit so the optisensor can pick up you pulls. also make sure you are using dow33 based greases. if that doesnt work then service the solenoid

The solenoid is probably fine. Sounds like the trigger fang needs to be polished or the battery needs to be replaced.
