Right, the official threads are there for a reason. Unfortunately, in a paintball community many of them fail to thrive and I don't expect much of a difference from my "non-official" thread asking a question. But just adding my question to a useless "official" thread with close to no activity does no good because someone skimming the forum won't see my question (as they will if it's in a title).
And there is no clutter in this sub-forum, the threads on the front page go back almost a month. So unless I'm condensing numerous threads, which I'm not, I'm not taking away from any organization.
I like my own threads, I seldom participate in "official" threads, and the "official" programming thread hasn't shown much promise or potential, so I'm sticking with this. Thanks though.
Edit* I just posted in there to see if there are any biters, guess we'll see. This ain't no Stack Overflow though, not keeping my fingers crossed, hah.
