I don't know about "better" results. But Dye lube works fine. In cold weather it can get slightly thicker. Any oil based lube will be fine. Slick, Dye, Hater.

I have found lurker is the slickest lube that wears well... Monkey Poo is second.

MacDev militia lube is super slick and actually works maybe better than those from a sheer LP setting perspective, but it separates quite badly. It seems to wear ok, but lurker is cheaper and works just about as well.

i used to use hater but i found that it seemed too thin and swelled my orings, so i would not reccomend it.

Use the Dye lube it came with until it runs out, clean and lube the bolt on a regular basis.

When you run out, pick up a 5.3oz tube of Dow/Molykote 33 Light and be set for life.

So many threads about it, so many people swearing by this or that, but there is a reason that most PB companies use Dow, and most "special" lubes start with Dow and just add some color and oil then mark the price up 4x.

yeah when i made a thread about it a while back, people said one of the main reasons they didnt like hater was because it was inconsistant, and no one was quite sure what it was made of. I'm not saying that it is trash, just can cause some problems (at least mine did). but, there are at least 20 threads that mention lube and all end up in lots of opinions being stated like speedy said. to the op, just use something quality and feel free to experiment to find what you like best

I've seen hater sauce sit in a hot trunk for a day and seperate into 2 distinct layers. Dow has sat in the same trunk and kept it's consistency. I've also used it in sub freezing temps many times on my own and my teams spools with no bolt stick.

I've not seen a materials data sheet on lurker lube or hater sauce etc or heard exactly what goes in to them for sure. In fact the hater sauce doesn't even have net weight listed on sites that I've seen. Another reason I like Dow, it is widely used in industrial applications and all the specs are easily found on the Dow website. No stupid paintball gimmicks, no cool color or name, no banana scent. It just works.

I've been using Planet Eclipse grease in my PM8 without issue. Shoots great with no 'funny things' going on. Last event I shot 2 1/2 cases, no problems.

I've been using DOW33 for all the guns here I fix at the shop and it seems to be the one that works best in all conditions. That's what I recommend for overall use. You could go for something thinner such, as Monkeypoo, but just remember to relube often with thinner lubes.

Yes, when people say 3 turns, it means 3 full 360 turns from all the way turned in.

Dye lube, lurker, techt salve (tried and works better in colder weather then the Dye lube) and any dow33 based lube,

except for hater (the green stuff). get's everywhere, even when applied super thin and gunks the marker up, DO NOT USE!!!!
