not the best of pics, but ...
Added the Magpul rail on the side to mount my Replay XD camera.. still waiting on my stock to come in.. so have this generic Rap4 on there for now.
P.S.
What Barrel is that? (I see the Apex1 tip) - but the barrel itself... looks like it has spiral porting for a good portion of it? Hows the sound from it?
This Apex2 barrel (came as barrel apex2 tip thingy all together) sounds horrid loud bang/POP!

I believe that barrel is the Apex 1/2 AA Freak Tip.
No idea on how it performs. I know my standard AA Freak Tip is real quiet.

thinking about getting this for my etha. does holding it by the regulator feel weird if you have the stock on? recommend getting a foregrip or holding on to the regulator just fine?

I have seriously been considering getting an Etha and railing as an electronic woodsball setup. Do you guys recommend it and the rail kit for woodsball play?

You are correct, it is the AA Freak Tip (the shortest of the two). It does muffle the sound signature a bit. I also use stainless inserts, I think they are worth it because they don't scratch as easy as the aluminium ones.
And yes, the reason why I got the bipod handle was to give the gun better balance and the feeling when you grip it is much nicer than holding onto the reg. PE could design some sort of removable grip that would encompass the reg, a bit like how the SP-1/G-1 reg is covered by a tactical grip.
And finally YES, I definitely recommend the Etha + EMC for woodsball. The Etha is eons better than any blowback, better on paint than the Phenom and more reliable than the TM series. The EMC kit is quite sturdy too. And the great thing is that it is easily reversible.

I went a little nerdy, but hey...
Top photo is with 7" DW Fibur, PTS M93 Stock fitted to a 98 adaptor, Magpul AFG. Two point sling.
Bottom features Apex 2.

That would actually looks pretty badddassseddd if you did up a Halo too or prophecy (or other square-ished) loader in that scheme on it.

Thanks for the info. I can understand how some woodsballers have an affinity for stuff like the Tippmanns and the BT series, but I am a big fan of the performance of speedball markers. I will now definitely invest in an railed Etha!

Someone needs to make a "magazine" that slides over the regulator!

Or a hollow handle that covers it! And a single trigger grip frame would be awesome.

First hard use today with the stock in place, and used on the clip
(I dont use a sling, just a quick release buckle on the vest) and although at first i was worried with the stock locker coming un-snapped and the gun falling to the ground.
I am fully confident it will hold now

Same. I love the look of it, and I'll feel much less anxiety about bringing my Etha out into the woods and mud for scenario games when it has this protective shell around it

I've never really had anxiety when taking a marker out into the woods. I have several Egos, a Geo and the Etha and I'd take any one of them out on any day.

I can't really afford to spend a lot on paintball, so protecting my Etha is critical for me. I see the EMC kit a lot like a phone case; it protects the resell value by keeping the main body from being dinged up when I do something stupid.
