Rip Clip Adapter

Has anyone used one of these Rip Clip Adapters from Flasc, that allows you to use a BT-4 Rip Clip on a TM7?

I just got a TM7, and have a Rip Clip for my Bt Delta, but it's the old model not the new one that works with everything.

I am trying to decide whether or not it is worth it to purchase the newer model Rip Clip, and sell my own or if buying an adapter will work well enough for me.

I used one a while ago. Worked fine, was made of metal though so it does add some extra weight. One thing to be careful of though is whether the microphone is sensitive enough to detect the TM-7 firing. A few are but most not, so you'd also need to install an upgraded microphone which requires soldering.

Personally I'd recommend just buying the TM-Series RipClip for the TM-7 as you know it'll work.
