are 06speed/g7/a1 breech seals all the same?
Hey guys, need a breech seal for my GAT/06 speed. Are they the same (or close enough) as the a1 seals?
thanks.

They are close, but the A1 seal has more material on the outside.
my friend used a G7 seal on his A1 without any problems. Not sure about using an A1 seal on the G7. I think you'd have to cut it down.
I'll check an see if I have a G7 seal you can have when I get home tonight. I'm not going to need it since I just have A1 and LED platform angels now.

I'm not sure, but I think the thickness is slightly different as well. You could probably trim down an A1 seal enough to work though.
Failing anything else, you can always go the DIY route using one of those liquid gasket products you can find at an automotive store.

right. just about anything can be made to work as long as you dont make it too tall and pinch the bolt. hell, before we figured out how to fix the problem permanantly we were just shooting without one in at all. had to do it 2 weeks ago til i got some super glue for the seal.
liquid gasket is a pretty good idea though. after i used a certain type of super glue one time though in certain weather it swelled up and just pushed my breach up enough to cause bolt stick. so if its too low, it wont help at all and too high it will cause bolt stick
