Wait until they start doing what at&t did to their "unlimited" customers. They picked the top users and slowed them down to about 2g. When asked, they never promised unlimited high speed, just unlimited data.

My family switched to a shared data plan and it's saving us money. 4 GB for 4 smartphones and we might be adding an iPad soon. I believe we're saving $30/month.

With the availability of WiFi, data on these devices will be ancient history. I use WiFi on my device more than 3/4G data.

So do I but I still manage To use almost 2 gigs of data every month.

I use Wifi at home and 3G at work or on the road. In the past week I have gone through 67 MB. I don't stream anything but I surf the web a decent amount at lunch, etc.

The nice thing about the Share Everything plan is that my GF could be added to our plan for $40. If I include an allowance for her data use, and maybe a share of the taxes and ****, $50-60 is still a fair price. That's with a smartphone with 4G, unlimited text/talk.

I still have unlimited data with verizon but with their new share **** i will lose it if i upgrade my phone. With the lowest 450min, unlimited text and now 1gb of data it will cost me ****ing $110 a month.

Granted in the 3yrs ive had a smartphone ive never used over .5gb a month so i dont need more but if im going to be forced to pay $30-$40 for data i might as well go back to sprint where i can have it be unlimited. I can get the same 450min, unlimited text/data for about $85 with taxes and fees. **** verizon.
