It is what it is
|
HS press: 90s, 100s, 115sx8
LF laterals: 95, 110, 125x12
BTN BB press: 95x20
Smith CGBP: 220x8, 5 185x12*
BB shrugs: 315 2x8, 16*
Prone hams: stack+5 2x12, 14
Hack squats: 4pps 3x5
LP: 545x10*
Was hesitant about trying BTN press, but it went well.
Was wondering why CGBP felt so heavy, afterwards I finally realized that I was only supposed to do 4x5
Lost 2 reps on the leg press.

9/13- Press
Press- 2x5@145
Slingshot bench- 275x2, 315x1, 330x0
Barbell rows- 5x3@225
Shrugs- a **** ton
Face pulls- two **** tons
Notes: Tested out my new wrist wraps today. These ****ers are like casts. The 330 attempt was way out of the groove of the slingshot. I did get a bit of decent tricep work with it, though.
EDIT: Also, my phone will not connect to the schools wifi at all lately, and that's the only way it will upload videos to youtube. So, no new videos until I can figure out what's up with it.

When did y'all decide to use wraps and ****? I am pissed that I finally broke down and started taking flax and fish oil to keep the joints healthy but if my knees keep on developing and severe case of *****-itis, I might have to break down and get some Rehband knee sleeves and a nice belt. I usually tell people that if you can't squat/dead over 500 or front squat over 400, belts are a little out of your league.

I bought my first set of wraps the end of my senior year of high school. They were a used pair of Inzer Iron-Z's, which aren't very stiff wraps to begin with.
I think belts are a good idea because you can teach the lifter to push against it, actually increasing core activation.

Belts teach you to activate the abs more and increase activation, this **** is proven, they're a training tool, not a crutch.

Did power cleans for the first time in nearly two months. Ribs are finally starting to be healed.
135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 205x5, 215x4, 185x4. Wasn't quite confident enough to pick up 225 this time, but probably could have for a rep or two.
Anyone ever get upper ab cramps?
