Who's happy with their Dangerous Power?
Hey guys, my friends and I use to play paintball about 3-4 years ago and got out of it till now...we are all getting back into it and I want to start new with a great gun. Im choosing between a couple of guns and just want your opinion on the Dangerous Power.
I have never heard of this marker before but does anyone recommend any of the models?
Also feel free to post pictures and description on what equipment you use or modifications that have been done to it.

I agree, E1 has some terrible design choices, namely not using their patented RAPS and feedneck, and a lame board.
What level marker are you looking at?
G4 is a better entry-level than the E1, given the reasons above. The only issue out-of-box is the lube, which is easily replaced.
FX I'm not as familiar with, but from what I've read on these forums, people are generally happy with theirs. Upgrading the ram and bolt is fairly common.
Rev-i is an outstanding value for a high-end marker. Barrel kit, APE board, you're pretty much good to go, son.

I was looking at the G4 or FX. The reason why is because I don't know how much we will really play but I would like a gun that can get the job done but yet at a great price, and if we do get back into it like we use too then I might have to make an upgrade to the Rev-i lol. But they look really cool but cool isn't everything, it just seemed like whatever site I went to there wasn't any reviews so I was just wondering if they were any good or not or. But from you telling me that the FX and upgrading the bolt and ram helped out alot!

PBN has a whole section dedicated to reviews, and there are plenty for DP.

You cant go wrong with either the G4 or the Fx. personally i used a fx with an upgraded bolt and ram and it shoots as nice as guns twice the price

I love my Rev-I, I got it used off of eBay. I upgraded to the techt engine. I have the older rev-I with the ape board. I have even thought of picking up a 2nd one.

I looooooved my G3 when I had it, and I love my Rev-i now. Like AoSpades said, you can get awesome bang for your buck with a used upped G3.

I love my bob long and parts and service are just a friendly call away.
Keep in mind that dp guns are one of the easiest guns to service but if you don't work on your gun then goodluck finding a shop to. Here in central fl, not only do they not carry dp but they won't work on them.
|
Same thing here in So Cal. Some shops refuse to work on DP markers.
Still 'tis true DP does not sell external regulator parts for their older markers F7 F8 Threshold or G3.
I Like the G4 and Rev-i actually. Not an FX fan. Though I have a teammate that swears by them.
