Everyone likes to be the hero. A hero to most is saving a little girls kitten from a tree, or pulling an elderly woman out of a burning building. In paintball we're not saving lives. Maybe its that 2 on 1 you pulled out in the finals, or that bold move you made to bring your team to Sunday, whatever it is, it's safe to say that everyone loves that feeling. The feeling of single handedly grasping victory. These occurrences are rare, and some are never given the oppourtunity. Here @ The Playground we decided to give our players that chance. The chance to call yourself the best.

The Playground Presents: King of the Playground 1 ON 1 CAPPED PAINT D4/5 Tournament
-Sunday September 23
-Hosted @ The Playground (Sewell, NJ)
-Gates open at 9, Captains Meeting at 9:30, games roll at 10.
-Capped Paint, 2 pods per game. (Players will be given 2 filled pods upon taking the field)
-$150 (covers entry and all paint costs, not a penny more needs to be spent)
-Paint will be high end Valken Brand
-6 reffs on the field (avoids giving away players position)
-Event Reffed by The Playground Legends
-Live Commentary via PA system from DC Arsenal's Wayne Davis

Rules:
-D4, D5, or Beginner APPA ranked players only (Your APPA will be checked if necessary)
-2 pods per game
-2 minute games
-12.5 psp ramp
-Each player will be given a number plate to be pinned on their back
-8 person brackets (guarenteed 7 games minimum)
-Top 2 players from each bracket move on
-Single loss elimination for finals
-Point system for scoring:
50 points per game
Pull - 20 points
Hang - 15 points
Elimantions - 15 points
Hang Time is the tie breaker.
