Axe won't power down
Ran into a problem with my relatively new axe last weekend. It didn't want to power down and when it finally did , I had trouble getting it back on. I changed the battery and didn't help. After letting it sit awhile it seemed to come out of it.
Is there something I need to fix or was it a fluke?

If its an Optimus board, Contact Kee. This happened to a friend of mine about a month ago/ It would shut off randomly, then wouldn't shut off at all, its the board.

Had the same problem with a Shockwave board for my Mini. Contacted Kee about it and they sent me a new board for free.

Thanks guys. I'll have to give them a call and see what they can do. Is there a way to know which board is in it?

It will say right on the board, just gotta look a bit. Another way is, if you can program it by holding the trigger down on power up, it's a shockwave. If you have to manually open the battery door and do i that way, it's an optimus

Also what part you are needing so we know
And that is it.

That is awesome! Thank you very much. Took it apart tonight and found out it has the Optimus board. Sending the info out tonight.
Sucks it had to go bad to find out how great Empire's customer service is, but really impressed so far! Thanks!
