I am thinking of covering my barrel with a carbon fiber wrap. Has anyone attempted this before? What should I look out for? How do you make holes for the porting after doing the wrap?

There was a dude in the Paintball Services board that was doing CF wrapping and covering the outside of your barrel won't effect performance as long as you poke in new holes for the porting. If you don't poke holes then you're going to have a much louder barrel.
