Auto cocker pump?

Can a auto cocker trilogy be made a pump? Or would it be cheaper to just buy a ore owned one? Looking to use a pump for Rec ball to save money

Is it worth buying the kit and gun or just buying one already put together

Buy one already put together. Usually cheaper, especially once you factor in Shipping. And then you don't have to deal with installing the kit which if you don't have the correct pump rod (which doesn't always come with the kit) you will have to file off the ram mount.

Buy one used, cheaper, easier...

I just figure picking up a pump will actually help my tourney play, but making me pick shots and get into good shooting positions. Which everyone should so

Agreed, try to find one already converted to pump. If not, the cheapest pump kits for a trilogy is $30 shipped new off ebay. Installation is a breeze but removing the pneumatics TO install it can be a beast, especially the loctited ram. I've converted 3 trilogys, and the ram removals always give me problems.

Try to find a Pro or Competition version. The most common, the Sport (usually blue), is the cheapest but the stock valve only works properly with co2 - if you use air, you'll have problems getting the velocity above 250.

Dude spend 100 bucks on a 2k4 or earlier that was already converted. I just had an Outkast pump I was going to offer for $150. Ended up getting what I needed so I'm not offering it anymore, but there are others in the BST section at about the same price.

Just built a trilly pump for my brother. $70 dollars for the gun and pump kit. Def a decent gun for the price.

What if we already have a sport, is there some kind of valve kit to get it to use air?

Is this true? If so what valves will fit as a direct replacement?
