Thanks to Skirmish, Terry and the great refs!

Thanks to all those players who made this (as always) a great game. Except for the Terrential Downpour, Thunder and Lightening.. it was a great day for paintball.

Good to see a lot of the folks I missed seeing at ION.

Crapgame.. next time you are stick tagged, your out.. OK??

To Keg & Bo always a pleasure working with you guys!

For those CDC officials:

Hey all, sorry to have missed you at this one. I've been dealing with a bad throat infection for the past few days that's just been flooring me. I'm looking forward to hearing about some of the antics that went on today, though.

Another great game produced by Jpazz and Wulfpak. It is ashame we couldn't get to the final battle due to the weather, it would have been crazy. Its always fun to get out there and see everyone.

@Team Predator - You guys kept me on my toes all day on the beach, and gave me a hell of a workout because you sent me back to the doctor constantly, for as many times paint bounced off of me there were an equal amount of times where i got hosed(by pumps).

@Ragnarok - It is always a fun to play with you, and I hate when I have to play against you... so please register the same side as me for the next errr... ummm FOREVER. I really hope that insurance fraud video doesn't get out there, or else Im screwed. You guys and girls are a hoot.

@Bo and SOV - It wouldn't be a day of paintball if we didn't have some people on the same field... Bo you did a great job out there even though I didn't play for you, but from experience I know how well you use your resources to get the job done.

@Keg and Professor - Congratulations, you brought a great force together for the British side, and I absolutely loved playing with everyone. It was a pleasure playing for you, and we would keep any future events in mind if you are looking for players.

Grazi's marker has explosive diarreah and I am glad I didn't get hit by it.

Oh and a huge congratulations to little ram on his award wining performance at his first game! Go Devils!

That is all.

Congrats to everyone who came and got as much in as we could before the torrential downpour. Between games this am, so just a quick post thanking all players and the G-Force productions! Can't wait for the next one!

BTW I thought that was Crapgame at the start in the woods right off the start? You guys really came out strong and there were only a few pump players ( myself included) With some walk ons trying to hold you guys back.

Remember, the Goo stuff should have been marked off with Plague tape..that stuff was WORSE than the plague itself! lol

To Everyone who came out, whether you played it or worked it, you were invaluable to us!

Invaluable? Valuable?

You know what I mean

There wasn't anything Skirmish, WülfPak and G-Force could do about the lightning.

But there was something we could do about play passes. Enjoy.

When the game got called:
71% of the world was saved through the combination of Germany and Britain's efforts.

Britain won by 10 points, 47-37.

Hope you all enjoyed:
Building cemetries to bury human remains

Having trial inoculations injected into 5% of your team

Dodging the plague zones until you got a Talisman

Constructing a Red Cross station in your base

Having the option launch a plague infected rat at the other teams flag station.

and more I can't think of this early.

Grazi:
Yes, yes you called it. During the course of the game, the plague spread.

At 12:00, two more plague zones popped up. At 1:00, your cemetery plague zones popped up. At 2:30, two more giant zones popped up.

Then at 3:30 1 more popped up for one of the second cemetery missions. There would have been a a second at 3:30, but the aforementioned weather hit fast before we properly do the second one.

A game that started with 4 zones, ended with 11, making those Talismans that much more important than they already were.

Again, huge thanks to everyone!!

For anyone that missed it, G-Force has one more game, February 23rd.
Then we're hanging up our mission writing / map designing / Prop building game producing skills.

If anyone is interested in taking over in our stead, call 1800 SKIRMISH, ask for Paul, and work out a deal. He is interested in quickly replacing us LOLOL j/k

I can't believe I'm actually awake right now. I'll be back on the thread later.

Alrightly, time for the props to all.

First Team Predator. The pump revolution will now be televised. It is awesome to have a great group of guys and gals to play with. It is an honor.

Big Bo and Ram great job recruiting the teams and players you had. Bo and Ram it was an honor to play for you. I wished the outcome would have been different. We will get them next time! I truly blame it on the weather.

German teams. SOV, Ish, Penn Dragons, Infamous, Sofa Kingdom, I know the team but the name escapes me and the rest of the German players. Great job even though we came up short at the end. It was awesome to play with you all.

Keg and the Prof. Congrats on the win. You guys did put a really great fight. It felt like a closer game than what the score indicated. You had some really great teams did alot of the heavy work and were able to get ground back for you when we pushed back to your insert. Next time we will bring the tank! LOL

British teams. NEA, Hell katz, TSSOG, Forefront, Exiled Souls, and the rest great game. Joker does wear a rubber suit. LOL It was great to be able to duke it out with your crew TSSOG you guys were a pain in my side all day long. At least we were able to give you a run for your money at the beach flag hang. My man, Rob Woods, you sneaky SOB. I give you congrats for the crawl into the zone with a pistol trying for the barrel tag. be happy it was me with the pump coming out and not Z with his mech cocker. He was shooting that side to. You would have caught at least 3 to the chest as he was ripping with that gun during the time in the station. next time, shoot first then ask LOL. I got a cold beer for you the next time!

GForce productions, Wulfpak, MarioL excellent concept for a game. We were not into scenario side as much this time around but we still got involved for props. Great job running. Your rep at the research station on the beach was a an awesome guy to talk to and worked on getting answers if he didn't know.

Skirmish Paintball, Paul, Terry, field staff, thank you for giving us the place to play this game at. It was great seeing you all again.

Great game!

I almost fell into the gelatinous sludge monster, which would have really sucked. That stuff was NASTY. I hope everyone managed to avoid it.

I was a little worried when it seemed like we were able to run almost to the German base off the break. Were the numbers off? Unbalanced game? I should have STFU because the next half hour was spent getting pushed all over the field until we were locked in our base. Very well played, Germans.

Has there EVER been a game at Skirmish in the fall that hasn't ended with a gigantic doom storm? Seriously. I think the weather gods don't like it when we play past 3pm.

Refs, Jpazz: excellent job and excellent concept for the game. It'll be a sad day when GForce closes up shop, but after all these great games I think you've earned some time off. Only thing I would change: sacrifice some players ahead of time so that the rain gods are appeased.

Sam/Keg: Great job leading the British to victory! It was a pleasure fighting for you.

Jpazz and Arh, my goggles are off to you two again (of course off-field only). Spectacular game and it was unfortunate that the lightning had to stop what you had in mind to complete Plague Wars. Love the ever-changing field and not only did we have to contend with player placement, attrition, props, missions, roleplaying...we also had to figure out who to give the talismans to in order most effectively move through the field.

German forces...Great fight, RamBo...I've been holding onto that one until the end of the game...SOV, ISH, Predator, Sofa Kingdom, Penndragons, Infamous, Zombie Outbreak Response Team, and all others...well fought! Thank you for bringing it all day, especially the two times I had to run out of our CP to keep you off of our doorstep.

British forces...the two Reservoir Dogs, nine TSSOC, ten plus Northeastern Assassins, five Ragnarok, two Autodeath, three LockStock, three Forefront, three Hellkatz, one Ambush Alpha, five Team Pain, one Exiled Souls, the Rentals, the Walkons, et al you all rocked! To our invaluable role players - Cookie Monster, Woo, Frosty, Piggy, Shifty, Tigress, and Ravenwolf, we leaned on your expertise and cool heads to bring home the W. Cookie Monster, thank you for your knowledge of all things Plague, your prop gathering, field commanding, and roleplaying. Woo, thank you for your cemetery building, prop gathering to those places that no one else goes, field commanding, and belly crawling. Frosty, thank you for your mad dashing, instant responses, and do or die attitude. Piggy, thanks for getting into the role to prep for your Seek the Jersey Devil commanding, just bring a watch next time. Shifty, thank you for being where you needed to be every single time and then some, while still taking heads, props, and intel. Tigress not only worked until midnight the night before and kicked *** for the 0830 CDC exam, but she also manned our comms, and even held my vest out for me, while I hurried out for the second German base assault. Ravenwolf, thank you for your omnipresence at our base to keep it an instant reinsertion point, your intellect, and constant reminder that we're playing a G-force game, not any scenario game. Of course, our illustrious leader, Keg. I had fun, brother. We worked well together.

To all of the award winners, well deserved, as were many others that were just as deserving.

Thank you to the referees, the neutral role players, Mario, Rob & Rob, and Terry, Paul and the rest of Skirmish for giving us great fields to play on! Terry, thank you for offering free rec ball passes to the players who stuck it out. It wasn't your fault nature got in the way of the game, but you gave us plenty of reasons to come back again. That's good business there.

I agree with Silence that it will be a very sad day when G-Force hangs up their masks for scenario production...hopefully it will be for a short, albeit extremely well-deserved, break.

Damn that rain!!!

I drove home Saturday feeling great about the game but I'm sure many here like me want to know what awaited us in the final hours of the game.

Thank you to all who came out and play for Professor and I on the British side. I hope everyone had fun as we tried to keep it as light hearted as possible while focusing on the game at hand. Kudos to the German players who had me worried about my CP falling much of the game, well done.

I'd like to take a moment to thank my command staff starting with my XO Professor whom without his work ethic, preparation, and go,go,go attitude we British would have been lost without. From comms, to leading charges, to pre-game prep Sam you did it all and this victory is not possible without your involvement Thank you for taking the job and I owe you.

To Ravenwolf and Tigress your presence was everything I needed and more. Thank you both for your contributions keeping the CP running smoothly all around. Honestly couldn't have done it without you two out there. The less a commander has to worry about the better he/she are and you two really helped out on more levels than you know. Thank you for the Goose Island as well.

Rob Wood, what else is there to say than thank you. Having you on my side of the field is simply an asset beyond reproach and your play showed it on Saturday while leading the troops in the field or dealing with the RPer's.

Murphy, quack, quack, quack! Way to take command out in the field near the plague zones. Those missions do not get accomplished with out you and I know it.

To my teams who played gloriously throughout the day and brought me more props than I've ever seen before in a game thank you.

The Trianos/ Reservoir Dogs, great job! Nick you continue to develop into one of the finest players on the field with every game. Steve, your never afraid to get into the crud to make your shots.

NE Assassins, my MVT, right from the beginning of the game planning I had you guys pencilled in to be my go to team. You didn't disappoint. Wherever I needed you you guys were there without a hiccup. Great job out there.

Ragnarok, again took the orders and got the job done when and where needed. Thank you for the push on the beach when we needed it.

Team Pain, wherever we needed fire support you guys were there leading the charge, Massive thanks for putting out fires all over the field when they would break out.

Forefront, just having you guys on my side made me feel warm and fuzzy. To have an elite group of ballers to plug in where needed and know that there will be results coming is essential to victory.

Auto-Death, effing outstanding job, literally did everything for me on Saturday including being guinea pigs for the experiment. Hope you guys had fun.

Lock Stock, welcome to scenario paintball! Capt. Mike you were all over the field out there. Let's do it again Broadway style!

TSSOC, thank you gentlemen for being the team to patch the holes where they developed and for assisting on many if not all of the missions throughout the day. I like those new Tippmanns as well. Special shout outs to Frosty and Shifty both of whom were essential personal all day long and really aided greatly to our cause. Frosty got the MVP and Shifty could easily be called MVP as well. Well deserved.

If I missed anyone I apologize, the rain wiped away my personal notes so I must rely on my ever failing memory.

Lastly cheers to the ref staff, skirmish personal, Wulfpak, and certainly G-Force for putting on another fantastic game. JPazz and Arh consistently break through the ceiling of expectations in a scenario event with their prep, eye for detail, storylines, and dedication to the sport. Thank you both.

Cheers everyone, see you all in February at Thing III!

A big thank you to JPazz and Arh for the time and preparation put into this game. The props, the plague zones, the talismans, the story line itself.. everything was just so well thought out and elaborate. Games like these are an absolute privilege to work. I only wish the final battle had a chance to play out. And everyone that didn't like the "blob" thank JPazz for nixing the idea of putting props in it.

What game, thank you to all the Teams / players that came out to play for the german side. You all did a fantastic job and I salute you all.

JPazz and Arh, what can I say you did it again. The time you put in building all this for us to enjoy is amazing, from the props (I have my plague rat) to the story....

Bo, thanks for eveything had a blast from day 0 when we recieved our command roles to the pouring rain ending the game... it was a blast.

Pete / Professor As always gentleman no matter if for or against, you both are class acts... Congrats.

Oh and Professor.... RamBo... hahahahaahaha....

...and of course the best part of the Game, my son is hooked and looking forward to Berlin and beyond...

Thanks again to all... (more to follow)

The German side was very strong. We love playing against quality players. Congrats to TSSOC and the rest of the British forces on the win. My team went to Skirmish once in '05 (D-Day) and hasn't been back since. We gave this scenario a try, because it promised to be a quality production and not to be a cheating mad house. We were not dissapointed. Thank you to everyone on both sides for the high level of play.

Man, you guys are fast on the editing! Love the video and love seeing you guys doing what you do. Glad you enjoyed the game and the sportsmanship. G-Force games attract great people. Thank you again and next time I want to run alongside you guys...Team Pain and TSSOC would be a fun combination.
