TOPAZ anno job, Amazing!
I sent my dust gunmetal empire sniper off to TOPAZ annodizing to get polished and a new anno, and he did an amazing job.

Woah, I never noticed those detent covers...
Maybe I could have one milled to conceal an eye or two? 
EDIT: their site is garbage, though. All the anodizing schemes that are stated on the home page are way off.
The flat black macbook looks a light carbon grey. The tequila sunrise is Christmas colors, and so forth.
But they look damn good.

I think I want to like it more than I actually like it... There is just *something* that doesn't really do it for me.
I don't know much about special anodizing processes, but how hard would it have been to make the sunken empire milling to be completely black? For example, in the close up, look at the first E, it is almost that way and even with the black splash in it, it still stands out. The P is completely blacked out so it is kinda hidden, and there is orange in the recess around the M doing the same thing.
Don't get me wrong, I still think it is a good looking anno, I would just give it a around an 8 out of 10 (note that I would only give solid color annos a 3 or 4, and two color annos a 5 or 6).
