GEO1 newbie question

So I'm getting back into paintball and I posted a WTB thread for Egos and DMs. Someone has offered a GEO1 package. In the past I have owned an 05 and 06 ego and DM4,5,6. Because I know nothing about the GEO1, or any GEO, my question is how comparable are they to ego's? I need something that is low maintenance as I don't have as much time as I use too, to tune and clean a marker after play. This is what I loved about the ego. All I did was take the bolt out, lube and clean and it was ready to go.

Thanks for any feedback.

they are way less maintenance than the dms but the geos have a hit and miss. some will be great other will have problems. best bet is to get a geo2 and up those guns will never fail. the geo1 are planet eclipses first time with a spool valve design.

I agree with this guy^^. A geo 2 is great. If your looking for something with no maintenance a ego is the way to go. But if you want something that shoots smooth and very little maintenance the geo 2 is the way to go.
