Does crossfire still make the best regulators?

Hi all,

I am coming back to paintball after 5 years of downtime. Back in 2007 Crossfire was one of the best regulators used in paintball. Do they still hold top rank, or have things changed? Please advise which tanks are known for the best regulators (fastest re-charge rate, accurate pressure output, etc, etc)

Thanks in advance for your help.

One word...Ninja. Plenty of youtube videos showing why. Most consistant, adjustable without buying another spring kit, fantastic reliability, and amazing customer service.

+1

Go for the Ninja Pro Reg adjustable. You can change your output pressures with ease and also change you fill nipple/guage placement.

Crossfire is still one the top reg/air system companies out there.
Best thing to do is check out the website, reviews, look at the tech videos in the stickies, and then do some comparative shopping on what is going to fit your needs.

Overpriced? You can find a standard adjustable reg for 38.95 on ebay. From low pressure, mid, and high adjustablity. The newer dual o ring design, and mini fill value. The value, and performance of this reg is excellent.

For a crossfire ss it's 35 on ebay. Little less option for pressure adjustment, Unless you buy a conversion kit. Still good performance.

Take your pick. Can't lose either way. price is not far off.

I'd agree with others that Ninja is by far (now) the best. For what you pay, you get a great product that is backed by a company who provides awesome customer support!

"Best" is always a poor choice of wording for this stuff, because a lot of it is just personal preference. Yes though they still make one of the best air systems on the market. I personally have always loved Crossfire, and I am very pleased with their products.

OLD FEEDBACK!

Why do people do this wanna-be hk thing? I mean hk people dont even play paintball, they just whine and start drama while wearing the ugliest stuff. Seriously you find light blue and pink to be attractive colors for your parents 1500 dollar investment (your gun/marker)? If you want to whine keep it off the field and save it for the internet; O wait! THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO! Haha, if you don't play then don't whine.

I want your G6r parts and upgrades, sell them to me, because you wont get anything for them if you sell/trade them with the gun.

I love my Ninja Ultralight - can change pressure by removing shims... reliable... Can maintain it myself when it needs it.
Brilliant, IMO.
