LUXE and roll-backs and other questions

I was shooting my luxe, the eyes work, everything functions, but it has roll backs terribly... so badly, i have to turn off the eyes to shoot...

HAS:
1.0 insides (i think its the bolt causing roll-backs)

ALSO:
can the pooty flat paced bolt fit in a 2.0 core?

PLEASE HELP!

The pooty bolt fits in all luxe cores just fine. I would suggest you have your bolt guide modded to accept the rhino spring and get a rhino spring while you are at it.

If your getting roll backs I would buy a detent rebuild kit. Pull your eyes covers off and verify that the spring and detent are not binding. It should snap back into place if you flick it with your finger nail. The detent kit will also include the foam pad that holds the eyes in place. If those wear out (the foam pieces) it could possibly cause issues if the eyes misalign slightly.

If you are getting the ball rolling back far enough for the eyes not to see it, you are probably missing the 14/70 bolt bumper on the rear of the bolt guide. Unscrew the bolt guide and check to see if the bumper is there. If not, replace it and that should fix the problem.

Hope you can get that gat sorted out. They are great markers. The luxe bolt does allow some roll back but I've never seen it create problems. I've never had the paint roll back enough to cause eye issues (I have seen this occur with older DM's and PM's though).

How does an eye board problem cause rollback? Seriously though if you already may have messed up the noid wires, call DLX, send it in, and then let them handle whatever it might be.

The problem with many paintballers is that when they get a decent gun that works, they won't hold onto it. They are constantly playing marker roulette and trying to get something newer or "cooler". The types of people getting rid of guns are often the ones that have ruined it first. In other words, you might have brought this upon yourself.

My advice: Buy a gun in good condition that you know and understand, and then just play paintball until you wear it out.

KMA, that's good advice for someone who actually wants to play paintball. A lot of these kids just want to look cool and are basically posers.

If you really can't get over your gun whoring ways, find a good reliable primary and keep it for as long as possible. Trade out back up guns when you get bored. That's what I do.
