Hey Guys, fng here with a couple of starter ?s

Me and my boys are wanting to get into the sport but we are total novices. We've got a few bits of cheap equipment from SportAuthority. I'm fairly well off financially and I'm ready to spring for an elite pball rifle. Any suggestions? Also I've got questions about group tactical strategy but that can come later in the thread. Thanks.

Well I'm thinking about my standard base being a 32 oz tank with 3 20oz cartridge refills. I will carry them on a 7 pocket Geoball belt. For the other ports, I will stock with canisters of Xcondor premium flyers and keep them loaded in a 400 ct Questmax hopper. Still deciding on a gun but I'm ordering a special silencer barrell, which I need confirmation on the legality of during tourney play. Also visor revs would be appreciated.

Your equipment is only as good as the team you're on. If you're looking to squad up we're looking for a couple back liners.

What's your 40 time and broad jump?

Well some of the first questions are where are you going to play? Are you planning on playing more tournament style xball play or woods ball tactical games? like all things some equipment is good for somethings and pretty bad for others.

well you said tournements.... which concerns me a LOT. but thats just me because when tourneys are mentioned i think psp, nppl, 3 man, etc. i dont often hear about woodsball tournements. besides UWL. what type of game are you gonna play? woods? or speedball? woodsball the marker doesnt really matter as much so long as you like how it looks/feels. yes the marker matters but on a different level than speedball. gives us specs on what you plan on playing

First off, it's a "marker," not a "rifle." Big difference when it comes to firearms laws, there. Secondly...

Not sure if Trolling, or gung ho... So, I'll address it as if the latter:
For woodsball style tournies, get a Tippmann A5 or X7. They're good markers and come with a cyclone feed system, eliminating the requirement for a separate hopper. From there, you can get as many upgrades as you like, but for the tippies to work like a standard electro-pneumatic, check out EVERY upgrade that TechT has.

Also, don't use CO2, use a good high Pressure air (HPA) tank. If you have a remote line (lets you keep the tank in a harness, instead of adding weight to the marker), I'd grab an 88ci/4500psi tank.

you can pick up this stuff from the BST thread here on PbN. Enjoy.

You never really know. That's the unfortunate thing about the interwebs.

1) They are paintball markers not rifles.

2) I've never heard of a Questmax hopper. Couldn't even find on via a Google search. I think you are making a mistake there.

3) Most of the stuff you named would be a complete waste of money. For that matter just about anything paintball related purchased from Sports Authority is going to be the lowest of quality.

4) If you wish to get into the tactical side of woodsball we can suggest a number of quality markers that will fit the bill.

I believe the 4.2 40m. I could run that back in college during my track days. But the 47 inch vertical....nah. I do not believe that you have a vertical leap 2 inches higher than ANY of the top NFL draft picks in the last 6 years of the NFL combine. That's a bit too hard to believe.

This is a troll thread. All three first accounts are troll accounts.

100% sure they were part of a "raid".

^Most likely.

I like to think they've probably been planning this for months. Their names imply airsofters, so I like to imagine they plotted the ultimate troll thread that would go down in PbN history, while they repaired their broken gearboxes and sew their Call of Duty patches on their milsim uniforms.
