What exactly do you mean? You must be a full time student to compete on a NCPA team in an NCPA tournament.

I understand that. I am a full time student at a college that does not have a team. I also have not see a "free agent" link on the APPA website. So I was still wondering if I am able to be put on a team that would need a player.

I think what he is talking about is that last year full time students could add themselves to a "pick up team" if their school wasn't playing the event or didn't have a team. If a school needed a player they would randomly be assigned one from the pick up team.

I would also like to know if this is still around.

there is a rule somewhere in the rule book that says that if you register for an event, and one team registers only 4 guys, ncpa may elect to combine teams for one line... but i could be mistaken. im sure joe will step in at some point and set us straight
