I was wondering if anyone has the 1913 barrel.Is it a worthy investment?

I have both the 14" and the 20". they both perform like the BT M16 14" barrel - well that could be that the 14" 1913 IS the same barrel with the extra furniture but the 20" doesn't seem to lose any performance to the 14". I have no problems with them in the field at all, except the 20" you have to keep in mind the longer length.

The barrel itself is really no better than a stock barrel. People buy them for the shroud, which is ultra cool but is also heavier than sin. If it's the look you want then go for it though...

better off just getting a barrel that comes with inserts if they have those with matching thread for the bt.

The look is great. it is heavy though.
