Thank you to teams and players from ASYLUM
I just wanted to thank all the teams and players that have traveld to our events at Paintball Asylum. We strive to have one of the most advanced paintball facilities in the nation, and could not or have done it or had a reason to do it if it was not for you all the players and the support of the MSXL league.
I have been fortunate enough to play paintball events all over the globe, let me say with the MSXL we have a GEM in our back yard. I have heard the comparison of this league compared to the top leagues of our sport, and that those other leagues with more than 3 times the price will offer a better experience. That is not always the case, you can still get bad calls, rude cocky reffs, the only difference is you paid a lot more for those bad calls. Don't get me wrong nobody like to be on the receiving end of an unexperienced reff.
With knowledge of the feedback from the players and the addional support from the PSP I am confident the future is bright for the MSXL, but the players have to help support this league not abandon it.

Just an observation, I thought a team had to play all the MSXL events to be in the running for the series prize, is this not the case?

Kinda kick in the nuts that you don't even have to show to an event and be able to drop the score
That means if you get 2 1st in a row you don't even have to show to the third

Or if you have a bad event you can drop it. Also it attracts more teams as the season progresses as attendance has proven. Most of the teams that jumped on the series at Plex probably would have stayed at home, we wouldn't have had much of a series by the time The PG event rolled around.
Is 4 events too many? Why in the world would a team want to miss an event after starting the series especially if you're winning free entry or cash and paint. I don't see the logic.

I see the point behind dropping the lowest event because the turnout for the last 2 events was much better than last year. It is slightly unfair for those teams who grind out every event but you have to admit it made the championships way more interesting. Good move by Tapp-nasty

I think this is still bull****.....your basically stealing from the teams who put so much into your series only to get jack **** back from it. You really need to rethink you "Business Moves"

Dropping the worst event is a good thing...but should be changed that only teams that attend All events could get one dropped. Like he said its kinda not fair for the teams that Grind it out the whole series. There is a difference between having a bad event and not even showing up. Just sayin

a dropped event wouldn't matter as much if the championship wasn't worth double points. just a thought although double points has helped the teams i've been on (YJP and Outta Kontrol) get second in d3 the previous two years
