Comon, dont make a statement like that without even telling why....
All the guys ive meet and know that used safer, are super happy with them.
Its just a tank.
And like people said, if stako dosent make their tanks rehydroable, they are pretty much done for in europe. Ofc they sponsor some teams, But that wont keep the wheels rolling.

It's a unit of volume. A 1.5l tank would be about 90ish cubic inches.
All hail the Metric system!!!!!!

I would definately buy a safer. It will work for 15 years included some rehydro every 5 year, and it is stupid light. My best friend has one, and i cannot see a reason not to use them.
I do agree that stako will have to do some drastic to keep afloat. Like lowering the price a fair deal under safer tanks.
mats_helge : I would like to know how you could say safer is horrible stuff, as i have only seen pure quality from them. I guess you have not tried one of these or seen one in person, and just assume it is garbage.

Well you are right. But the price has to fall alot to justify it not being rehydroable.
If I got a good deal for a Stako i would def buy one.

Well, I have to agree with him. The first batch of Safer bottles were horrible. Out of nowhere, if you would fill it up, bubbles appeared on the bottle (air under the rubber lining) and sometimes they began to leak through the material. I've seen them from teammates and many other players.
Like Stako's, you cannot empty them fully, this can cause problems like those bubbles / leaking. That's why Safer is shipping out the bottles under a little bit of pressure now.

I guess that's a concern for some...... I've played for 23 years now, and I've yet to send in a tank for hydro
Seems there is always something new to get anyway, before a tank needs re-certification.

Thanks for putting some light on the issues.
But to be honest. All stakos do the same, so it dosent justify calling them horrible.
