What was the answer? Looks like you could evaluate the series with something like:

The trick was in finding the pattern in the terms to easily evaluate it without a calculator.

Every other time you're adding 4 less than previous on to 4023.

So 4019 then add 4015 and so on. For some reason I can't think of the formula for that. I feel like it should be obvious.

edit: unless its just the partial sum formula for a sequence. so like 1006(4023+3)/2 = 2025078. idk, im a ****ty engineer.

my uncle is at dragoncon(sp?) in ATL this weekend weirdly, he goes every year with his son, my cousin. we call it the nerd convention lol.

in other news, might be picking up a 2nd job soon, should know more sometime this week

if all goes well i'll basically have two part time jobs, shooting for 50 hours a week, the money would be nice

one i already have is basically a food runner/busboy, only been there a week so far and only got 15 hours but they said they are more than willing to give me more i just gotta pick up the system

other one i am looking at this week is at a gas station, basically cashier, little risky but im not really worried much about it. money is money.

Think of it from the beginning instead of counting down and it's easier to evaluate sans calculator

yea bro nice on two jobs but its gonna be tiring as **** 50 hours + school is a alot. i was barbacking and bussing at this restaurant this past summer and i was working 50-65 hours a week for 5 weeks. i got 5gs from it but it still sucked ***. espically when i was at 65 hours. overtime was nice though. but basically just saying pepperyourangus

50-60 hours feels like you slept at work and that's all you did for the week. It sucks working that much.
