Disruptive Death Touch Barrel?
So been looking into getting the Disruptive Death Touch barrel kit. The design looks like it gets great efficiency but how quite are they? Does the long control bore sacrifice the sound signature? How is the build quality of Disruptive barrels compared to other companies? Also, What is the difference between the Death Touch kit and the Balance kit?
Please comment with any experiences you've had with this barrel.

Yes please offer insight into this barrel, specifically in comparison to the balance.
I have the balance and it is one of the quietest I've tried: shaft2/3, shift, lucky15, UL, longbow, furious, etc.

How is the Balance kit seriouslysilly? From what I can tell from the pictures of the two barrels they look identical.

It's the pretty much the same as the Balance barrel, except the back screws into the front on the Deathtouch, like the Shaft4 does.

You're right, thanks for pointing that out bud. How do you like the kit? Do you usually shoot it or some other barrel?

I've been using the Balance barrel, but I don't have a full kit. Been using a .682 on my Ego7; not necessarily more accurate than the stock Shaft barrel, but it is noticeably quieter, and definitely jumps up the velocity.

I may pick one up. So does it screw into the shaft 4 (with reverse threads like the Lapco Fuse barrel), or are you simply saying that it is similar to shaft 4 in the way it threads in?

Similar design to the Shaft 4 highly doubt they would be compatible...
I used the balance barrel on an older Ecocker and it was awesome. Used the .678 and .682 backs and that covered most paint for me. Very nice and quiet and I liked the unique 15" length. They are a great buy. I'm sure the new Deathtouch barrels are just as awesome.
Disruptive makes some very quality barrels at a very fair price.

The deathtouch is actually a little quieter than the balanced barrel. The balanced barrel has a slight reverberation sound that is a quite noticeable when compared to the deathtouch. As far as sound goes, Disruptive deathtouch, along with their one piece barrels, are some of the lightest and quietest barrels on the market.

So does anyone know what the overall length of a Death Touch back and a Shaft 4 front is when they are put together? Also, is the Shaft 4 tip quieter then the Death Touch tip?

I've got a 15" Disruptive and my ethas stock shaft 4. Luckily my stuffs out in the car.
Death touch back + shaft 4 front looks (didn't measure) like it'd be around 13.5-ish.
Shaft 4 back + DT front came out to be ~14.25
The DT back seems to be shorter by 0.5, while the tip is longer by about an inch.
The death touch tip has 3 more rows of porting than the shaft 4 tip.

Furious are great barrels but they don't have the long control bore of the shaft4 or the disruptives

Not cosmetic, they do not need the longer control bore to achieve the same effect.
