Mini ripper 1 intimidator.
does any one know the story on this gun, or have pictures? I can find links to it being sold along time ago, and i remember seeing it floating around in like 02. I assume its a custom hack job?
I have a ripper one that was recently slightly bent in the mail, i think milling the gun down would make it work because the end of the top tube is the part thats slightly bent.
thanks in advance
update-- found one picture

ugh, yes it finally showed up. The box was beat and the gun bent, It wont fire.. It cycles without the bolt in, but the top tube is bent and it wont allow the bolt to cycle forward.

i dont have much to loose as of now, so why not just hack it up a bit?

I would contact BLAST and see if it's something they can repair it. They may be able to open up the top tube for you without having to cut it.

I had something similar happen with a 2K2 and a nasty fall. It may be able to be repaired. Contact BLAST. They likely have the tools and expertise to do this without over bending the body and without damaging it further.

It becomes more problematic if both walls of the body/tube are bent. If its only one it's pretty easy.

ya I'm betting that's fixable. it's just the very back of it that's bent in. a little tweak and it should be good to go.

If that's the case it won't be hard.

If I had to guess... it had a Gen 4 lower tube and frame. I never saw the gun.
I thought about doing that to my classic timmy but I never was able to dig up all the needed parts.

I have found that the old aluminum bolts from Autocockers are especially great at bending bent bolt tubes back to shape..

the threads are from 2k2 long before gen 4 timmys existed.
but yeah, i was going to contact blast and see if they could work any magic. They have always been really helpful.

Open your eyes further! Lol
This is God awful looking and I think I just shed a man tear.
As for bent body fins, I remember speaking with Ron about this and he said they used a wooden dowel to massage them back into place. I did this on my old 2K2 I sold to my bud that he stored in a foot locker and piled a bunch of stuff on top. I heated the body with a heat gun just to make sure it was more malleable because I was afraid it might crack. 5 years later it's still going strong.
