Ok, the date is 100% locked in. We already have 4 teams ready to go for the beginner portion of the tournament.
Entry is $150 max roster of 4
mechanical only with shake and bake hoppers (pumps are allowed)
Must purchase 1 case of paint per team at $45 a case.
$50 from each entry goes to a pot and 1st place takes all.
Entry is $100 for the team max roster of 4: includes marker and air.
Each team will be required to purchase a minimum of 1 case of paint.
Paint will be $45 a case.
Beginner Prizes: 1st place is locked in but 2nd and 3rd will depend on turnout.
1st place: 12 entry/air passes to Diamond Hill Paintball
2nd:6 entry/air passes to Diamond Hill Paintball
3rd: 3 Diamond Hill practice shirts.
Rules are as follows:
*3-man teams with up to 4 on the roster
*Newer players only (max of 2 tournaments played at the beginner level)
*Rental markers and standard non-electric hoppers. (Markers will be provided, though if you have a Tippman or Spyder let us know and we can make exceptions as needed. This will be a case by case basis to ensure overall fairness)
*Race-to-2 format with back to back points with 2min breaks between points and matches will be 5 minutes long.
*Tie-breaker if needed will be a 1 vs. 1 elimination.
*Penalties will be basic. Playing on with an obvious hit and wiping will constitute that player being pulled. We will pull extra players if the player in question acts unsportsman-like such as swearing or being overly aggressive (determined by the ref).
*Dirty hangs will still be counted if there is another live player on that team otherwise the point will be a draw.
*If the player with the flag is shot he becomes the flag station and is a dead player, as such will place his/her marker on the ground.
