Focus gear slip?
I have a 2000 ford focus that i have been having an issue with. basically any time i give it a good helping of gas it seems like the clutch engages, so instead on accelerating i just end up revving it up as if i was in neutral. same goes for when i start to take off, i have to take off super slow otherwise it will just rev up and not move. if i try to start with high rpm the clutch will just disengage super slow even if im not even on the pedal anymore. the car is drive-able but it gets really annoying. the clutch was replaced about 2 years ago so i pretty much baby the clutch. i haven't had it checked out at all so i was just wondering if anyone here knew what it might be or give me some tips on what i could check to diagnose it.

Someone should probably invent something that synchronizes the gears.
