Did you try a new barrel? One with more porting will do the trick. I have a Powerlyte Scepter kit with my gun (Powerlyte is now defunct), but any barrel with alot of porting will do you well. Also always remember to underbore so you don't have any rollouts.

Farting is hammer bounce against the valve stem.

You'll need to either re-spring it (spyder springs, you may have to compress the valve spring or clip it. compression using the lightest spring is preferred) or get a new valve that's higher flow so you can drop the velocity adjuster on the back.

A suggestion would be the Maddmann rocket valve for 11/16 (spyder, merlin, azodin). Those are the best valves under $60.

For springs, the go-to route seems to be (and really all you need) are the 32 Degrees or Maddmann spring kits for spyder.
