I just bought this t8.1 off ebay and it just won't fire. I had to re-assemble the trigger assembly because the guy before me was an idiot and had it all wrong. Basically though, what happens is it won't fire, nothing happens and I know you need to push the bolt forward but whenever I put the spring for the barrel in, it just places the bolt all the way back again, is this normal?

the barrel should be the last thing you put back when reassembling the marker.

The spring should be the second to last thing you put in the last is the barrel LOL.
