Random *** question but some dude on my facebook is asking me.. when you guys who get deployed to Afghan get issued multi-cam, do they also issue you new boots for that uniform? What are the name of the boots? Brand/style/whatever?

I remember being issued some danners when we hit Astan, they ****ing blew dick. More like something you would wear to a club than a gun fight. Sold em on ebay for 90$.

BDS Tactical? Anyone had anything from them? New battalion and you don't have to wear issue only stuff. Awesome.
Does anyone like the rack that is issued with multicams? 6 mag pouches, molle on the front and a few mesh pouches on the back for whatever? I loved mine. Might order the one thats like that from BDS. Also like that you can attach it just to your plate carrier/iotv without having backstraps of any kind.

I've got some Lowas. Started the trend here in the BN. I highly recommend the 6 inchers.

Unfortunately I still have to conform to AR 670-1 til I graduate. However, for SUT I was looking at getting a pair. Everyone who does have them, says they love them. The 8inchers alright?
