Merlin pump?

Anyone ever built a pump with a Merlin? Any reason not to? Don't know much about them other than the valve is different .

I guess if you wanted something different. The larger valve won't help you with a pump but I could see it being cool.

Of course I've gone mad with power. You ever try going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you.

Kinda what I was thinking. Saw AKA has the Merlin kits on their site. Just got some gears turning. Don't know if I like the milling or not though.

Ruler Mark has one. CCM makes an adapter so 2K+ pump kits fit:

When I was working at AKA I was designing a Merlin specific pump kit for my little side company.

There is a lot of possibilities with a Merlin body for a base, tone of material for a custom cuts .

I will see if I can dig up the proto type and body and take some pics and post them.

If I remember correctly you can also use the 11/16th CCM valve and hammer kit on the merlin's too. I have a merlin pump that I will eventually start machining.

Never knew you used to work there. Makes sense why you have a pretty good amount of AKA stuff for sale. Always figured you were just a big fan.

Well , it was Me, Chris and Dan that worked in the shop, me and Dan traveled out to shows and ran Costomer service and tech suport, and at one time I even help teach some of the tech class's.

At one point I was 1 of 3 master techs AKA had.

I still have a few toys laying around, and also still working on a few things, also up to a point designed the No Rider , and got it to marker through LEADS (AKA big brother company)

Thats just me.
