Best/cheapest package to ship barrels?

Title

Have a few barrels I would like to sell. Sold barrels before, but only with the marker so the fit in the box. What is the best/ cheapest package to ship a barrel? Looking to maximize profit. A foam/envelope style package works for me because I have a plastic tube for the barrel.

Thanks in advance.

Poly mailer bags are hands down the cheapest.

I dont even wrap the barrels in tubes, no need to...
I use a bit of bubble wrap taped around the barrels for protection, than use a bubble envolope to send them in.... Never had one messed up..

alot of times, I will roll the envelope over itself and tape it together for extra protection as well and just stick a label on it....
usually shipping barrels for me with a tracking number run around 2-3 dollars shipped....

best thing to ship a barrel is to make one out of cardboard box, fold the sides into a triangle and cut it a few inches longer than the barrel. wrap the barrel in paper or bubble wrap and slide the barrel in.

I just shipped out my 18 inch apex 2 barrel today for under 8 dollars. I used usps priority mail too. What i did was take an old carboard box and cut it down to fit the shape of the barrel. (long and not high or wide) i then reinforced the carboard box by surrounding the barrel with even more carboard. Finally, i wrapped the barrel in some kind of soft scratch proof material ( the big and soft foam like peice that a ps3 comes wrapped in to prevent it from getting scratched). The box package ended up weighing under 2 pounds and was 20 inches long, 2 inches high, and 2 inches wide i believe. Hope this helps!

Single barrels: Wrap them in bubble wrap and toss them in a small mailer tube.
2 piece barrels: Wrap them in a layer or 2 of bubble wrap, and use a medium-large padded envelope.
