Customer Appreciation and Paintball Olympics
MN Pro Paintball would like to thank all of our customers for a great year so far! To show our appreciation we are hosting a 5 event Paintball Olympics on Friday, August 24th from 12 – 7 pm at the Burnsville store.
The MN Pro Paintball Olympics is a series of events set to test a player’s skill and speed in the paintball world. Anyone can enter the Olympics and have an equal chance at winning! The cost to participate in the events is $2, but spectators are welcome to watch. Admission into the event will also get you a free raffle ticket for a chance to win a FREE Sly Profit mask! Additional raffle tickets are also available for $2 a piece. Points will be awarded to each person with the top 3 scores in each event with the overall winner being the person with the most points overall at the end of the day. The top 3 point scorers will be the overall winners for the event and announced the Saturday following the event, August 25th. To add the festivities we will also be grilling up some awesome food and have beverages on hand to say thank you to all our loyal customers.
During the Olympics there will be one of the largest sales of the year in both the retail locations. More details on the sale will be announced closer to the event. Just in case those specials weren’t enough, we will also be raffling off a brand new Planet Eclipse Etek3 AM! Raffle tickets will be on sale for $5 per ticket with no limit to the amount of tickets a person can purchase. Tickets will be on sale until the day of the event and the winner will be announced on Saturday, August 25th.
Event 1: Accuracy Shooting
Player is given 20 shots to hit 5 targets with their own personal marker, if you do not bring your own marker you will be given a 98 Custom. Player must shoot each target twice before moving on to the next one. Each player is given 1 minute to perform the task and must stop at the 1 minute mark if they have not shot their paint yet. A perfect score is shooting all 5 targets 2 times with 10 paintballs left.
Event 2: Video Game Challenge
Players play one match of Greg Hasting Paintball 2 on PS3. Each game will be a 5 on 5 against the computer and set to normal difficulty. Players are timed to see how long it takes them to play the match. Best time posted to win a match will be given the top place. In the event of a tie, a coin flip will determine the winner.
Event 3: Rotor Tear Down
A player is given a fully dismantled Dye Rotor with 3 AA batteries. They are each timed on how fast they can completely assemble, install batteries, turn on and off the Rotor, remove batteries and fully disassemble the Rotor. Fastest time will win.
Event 4: Marker Setup
Players are given a marker, air tank and loader. They will be timed based on how fast they can assemble the setup, air up the marker, degas the marker and then disassemble the setup. Fastest time will win, ties will be settled with an accuracy contest.
Event 5: Podding Contest
Players are given a caddy full of paint, 2 empty pods and a pod pack. They will be timed on how fast they can fill 2 pods, put the pack on and put the pods in the pack. Tie breaker will be determined by a series of 5 questions to each person, most correct in the fastest time wins.
Points per event:
1st – 5 points
2nd – 3 points
3rd – 1 point
