Anyone know what this is?

Looks far too shiny to be a standard anno, owner doesn't know what it is.
Thanks.

Does it flake off?
Might be a type of powder-coat. I've seen it hear and there, but dont know what its called.
Could also be just a really thin anodizing over an electropolished surface.
If its really tough and doesn't flake its prolly ano.

Looks to be colored vapor deposition. The same process used to create the Aurora finish only in specific colors. It's the same process used to do the black "chrome" special edition Mini's.
Looks amazing but too bad he didn't have my Trigger anodized to match.

Test it with an ohm meter... ano and paint don't conduct electricity. Chrome, nickel, etc. will.

This is most likely the correct answer. At least that is what it looks like to me. It's a titanium vapor deposition. Depending on what chemical is used you can get solid colors like above or the aurora finish that everyone has seen.

You mean they didn't actually have to run 1.21 jigawatts of power through the Flux Capacitor to create the Aurora finish as Doc suggested? LOL
