So the NCXL winner gets 20% of the total entry money back, so if their are 5 teams at $500 each, the winner gets $500??...at Liberty, the split was 1st $400, 2nd $300 and 3rd $100, or winner take all $700. Liberty was a fun event, but the NCXL needs a lot of work and does not give us much information.

Read the rulebook. It gives all info on how prize money is split.

In this case, the rule is that it is up to the captains at the captain's meeting as to whether the prize purse will be split or winner takes all.

All events are byop.
