techt gun sav vs militia lube
I've been using tech t gun sav on my Droid and drone, but i remember someone saying not to use that lube, what negative effects will it have on my gun/orings?

I sent a Droid into them for almost 6 months to play with.....they tried to improve the drivetrain and get us to use their lube. Unfortunately neither was an upgrade and consistency wasn't as good!

speaking of upgrades will there ever be an upgrade to the drive train? possibly a delrin bolt that may reduce sound and operating pressures. similar to what they have done to the axe?
the reason i ask is because stock the drone is quieter than a stock axe, but if you put the lurker or boss bolt in the axe, the axe has the upper hand.

Tech T only makes "upgrades" for low end guns... the parts they make for high ends are fail. Honestly, Lurker is the second best lube I've ever used and militia is the best overall.

He was asking about the drone, not the droid. The drone is a mid level marker. The axe is $450 and the drone is $550 wich is considered mid level.
But as blueshifty pointed out, the gains may be too small or may not even make the marker better in any way.

Price wise I'd consider the Drone mid-range, but performance wise it holds it's own against the high-end spool market. Tech T made "upgrade" bolts for the DM/PM line that basically turned them into blowforwards. I don't consider that a good thing. Since the drone is already a blowforward the only real changes that can make revolve around changing the chamber volume which is a direct trade-off in either direction (more efficient means rougher/ louder shot; smoother means less efficient). Not an upgrade IMO.
As for the lube... I have done a far amount of testing in spools over the years so I had a bunch in my bag and now ONLY carry dow 33, dow 55, lurker and militia.

Lol... I'm picky. Dow 55 on certain reg orings and manifold seals. Dow 33 on most regs. Lurker and militia interchangeably to some degree. Some other lubes like hater and slick honey went in the trash.
