What board can I use in a race frame?
As the title states I am curious as to what boards I can put into a race frame? I am thinking about converting my mech GX-3 into an E-cocker and I am trying to plan by build.

Raceframe... Race board...?
Other then the UTB :shudders: there is no other board that will fit since the Race is a 'normal' 45 frame.
Also, it will be a VERY tight fit for a 9v in the frame. There are special frames that have been gutted to fit the 9v and race board.

To install the universal T-board is very easy. If you really feel like it's to hard you can always drop damon a mail. He is very helpful. But really it's straight forward. Just follow the diagram on the webpage. Basically it's all about cutting 14 wires and soldering them back together make sure you buy heat shrink to insulate wires. (The universal T-board actually comes with a bit of heat shrink). And when installing remeber: you can always make a wire shorter but making longer is a bit of a problem.

Oh and there are 2 types of UTB the one is open bolt the other is closed. The boards are identical and only differ in software. If you have a openbolt version you can send it in to damon and he'll reflash free of charge(he'll charge you for return postage only)
