.692 barrel too big?
I want an invert carbon fiber nightstick which is on sale for only 20 bucks (normally 60+) but the bore size is .692 ... Isnt that way too big for todays standards? I hear paint is usually around .680 these days. I live in new york if that helps.

I shoot a .678 and haven't had one ball break. Paint is around .680 to .682 these days. .692 is huge.
Spend another $20 and get a Lurker Eigenbarrel, those Invert barrels aren't that great.

Bought a dye ultralite .692. No breaks or anything. I think its always good to overbore. Cause its always hot where i play and the balls seem to swell alot

.689 is really the equivalent of what .692 used to be for an overbore with how small paint has become in the USA. .692 isn't necessarily too big but it can be generally considered less desireable for efficiency.

I agree with the guy above. 85 is kinda like what 89 was 3 years ago, 92 is kinda like 94 or 95 was, just a wee bit too big to be practical. heck these days 85 is overboring O.o
so no don't get an 92 get something like an 87 or SMALLER.

All depends on where you play. The hotter it is, the more the balls will swell. Most paint is much smaller now though, .688 is a better bet
