i have been playing for about 4 years with my Invert mini. i have to fix it nearly every day and i have heard a lot of good things about the luxe im just wondering if it is worth the money thanks!
Going to a luxe from a mini is a huge jump. Have you ever shot a luxe? Obviously not, or you wouldn't be asking. It's the best shooting gun out there, if you ask me. Find someone that has one and ask if you can shoot it. I'm sure you'll agree at that point.
The question is really is a high end marker worth the extra cost over a low/mid end.
The answer depends on the person. Luxe is a LOT more money than a Mini, but it's significantly smoother, more gentle on paint and most would say the ergonomics are way better. If you can afford the cost and play frequently, I'd say yes. You WILL see a performance difference.

Let's put it this way. If you can get a luxe and still have money yo play regularly it is the best decision in paintball you'll make. However, if it comes down to having a nicer gun and being to broke to play it s never worth it.
All things aside the luxe is the best marker I've had in the last 10 years. Period.
Nope, buy a vapor.
They just came out with a new flat face bolt, very similar to the pooty.
It shoots madness.
vapors are much better than luxes and it comes with a barrel kit, 2 triggers and a hopper when they come out ohh and they shoooooooottt wayyyyy better than a luxe!

Have a luxe, not shot a vapor. Will be waiting till i shoot one to make uo my mind.

Can't be that good if they have to add all that to make sales and still doesn't even come up to par with a Luxe. Luxe also has a better resale value.
I've tried some flavor on the month markers and they are often great, but I've learned that it's best to stick with markers that have good customer support. If you look around the forums, you'll see that DLX takes good care of their customers.
It's also awesome if you can get local support. Luxes have a larger following and have been out for years. Chances are you'll be able to find parts and someone who knows how to fix your Luxe locally.

Ask me which is better, I have an answer for yall. And I do own both of them
with such a vague question -- is it worth it -- and being that you posted in the DLX thread, 90% of the people are going to say HELL YES!!
IMO you should find a gun that fits you and your stlye of play, im sure there are a ton of different guns at your field, grab one (ask first) and shoot it to see whats up.
Im guessing you have the funds to pay for a luxe so apparently you can afford the vast majority of gats out there.... is the luxe worth it?? HELL YES.. but im also partial to Geos and shockers... there worth it to. Find what fits you
luxes are worth it though FYI

Dont get a vapor, unless you want awful resale value. I understand that some people might not think this far into the future when obtaining a new gun, but just the thought that people are willing to pay more money for Gun A over Gun B makes me feel better if I happen to own gun A. I am not sure why I feel this way.

couldnt have said it better myself. gun is amazing. Def worth the price and you wont be sorry
The vapor is NOT, and does NOT shoot comparable to the luxe. They shoot poppy, and kick a fair amount more. The luxe has been around longer, and is all around a better platform. If you're into buying guns because they come with bangs and whistles get a Vanguard gun. But, since most gun manufacturers simply sell their product as just that, and not a product with tons of selling points such as a new hopper, triggers, barrels blah blah blah you can't compare it with those pluses to a luxe.
