Well said.

The Axe isn't a high end gun? It sure performs like one. I have $1000 into my custom Axe setup. Bolt, barrel, and lasering cost me $900 including the gun. (lasering is expensive). Add a custom CrossFire and a Z2 and I have a sexy, reliable gat that performs better than I ever could have hoped. And being they I am a parent, I have enough left to buy my son his own Axe setup. I am also lucky enough to receive Axes from Empire to raffle off for my charity. Every person who has won an Axe from us says one word after playing with their new gun.....WOW. Just WOW

True, for stock patterns or easy jobs. Most designers charge upwards of $20 per hour for designs. My gun has close to 20 hours of design. Thank god I didn't pay that much.

The Empire Axe can compete against high ends. Technology in the Redline Board is simply amazing one of the best OLEDs out

i'd love to see a higher end empire inline poppet, the only competition would be victories... and by higher end i mean light, barrel kit, nice hard case, nice feedneck (BRING BACK THE NANO), the relay ASA is nice.. all the bells and whistles.

Axe

The AXE may not be pricey, but all because they are pricey makes them good? the axe is one of the best guns I have ever used, dominates the field!

The Axe holds up against high priced guns without fail. I don't see a point to asking for a high end marker from them. They give you easily upgradable options for the Axe.

Retail Prices For :
Empire Axe = $459.95
Empire Super Freak Kit = $199.95
Empire Redline OLED = $219.95
Boss Bolt (Infamous/XSV) or Lurker Bolt = $34.95 or $28

Totals up to $914 + your state tax (With the more expensive bolt). That's not even counting the nano feed neck only because it's discontinued.

That seems like a high end to me. Right around the price of a G6r. I personally like the fact that Empire didn't give me all that extra crap. It would make me feel like I HAVE to use it. All my teammates who shoot Planet Eclipse are shooting their stock barrels. As much as I like the super freak kit, I'm more of a 15 inch barrel kind of person. I'm shooting a CF Boomstick right now and Im thinking about selling it for a Lucky 15 barrel from Warped Sports.

Empire just made a basic gun with all the electronic bells and whistles. It has all the modes, annoying but still customizable stock board, dwell settings, bps settings etc. That's all you need to start off as a new person to the sport or a person who has owned and shot plenty of guns and realizes that the Empire Axe is easily comparable to every other gun out there. I personally know people who sold their DM12s, Geo2s, and Luxes to buy an Axe and have enough left over money to buy all the ups with sponsorship discounts. They love their Axes.

Redesigned reg built into the grip with a standard Asa mount. No more weird set screws to attach a tank/Asa!
Redesigned tooless feedneck
Redesigned wider/larger set screw for front grip
Redesigned trigger pin
Less than two pounds
Delrin bolt/some type of lurker/boss spring set up
Sniper barrel long control bore .680 & .685 backs
Oled
Good hard case
Better tolerances and quality control
Call it $950-$1,000
I call it the battle axe

CSL is simply an ego 11 with different milling and a cure4 bolt for an extra $600. Don't buy into the hype.

Axe is a good marker.

Got to play with my stock Axe (stock barrel, trigger, bolt) over the weekend which happened to replace my Mini (which I love dearly). The marker was excellent, hel up great all day, and did not have one issue. Shooting was VERY consistent and did not chop once. I thought this was great since the box of balls we had to buy aren't of the great quality. Had quite a few comments from some of the workers and refs through out the day on the new Axe. First shot without any adjustments was 281 fps followed by 280fps...not bad. Anyways, I can say some of the novice (as in people who never played or more then once/twice) players did not appreciate the gun through out the day.
