Did you find that stateside or is it there in England? Honestly, it looks like the original cattle tagging "markers" that were the primitive beginning point for what we have now. Honestly this is one of the only guns that have me stumped.

the brass eagle gun is worth working around 100 dollars more or less. (To some looking for a piece of the past, more, to someone looking for an old gun, less.). but they average right around 100 dollars when they come up.

Very cool marker! mcarterbrown will have more info on those as they are a bunch of grumpy old timers who live in the 1999 and older gun market it seems.

Are you certain about that price?
This eBay auction ended at $300.

which one are you talking about? the Golden Eagle or the Splatmaster? you'd be lucky to get $100 together for the pair. they are old, antiques, and more or less a foot note in paintball history. if you find a seller and you get a offer, take it.

You slack off on the forums for a while and all kinds of things slip by you.

And seriously, where the hell are all these sub $100 Golden Eagles people are talking about? My green one, same as the one in the original post, cost me around $250, in 2004, after TWO YEARS of searching. If there were any $100 examples out there, tell me, so I can buy them and flip them for what they're actually worth. Golden Eagles are a bit of a unicorn, or a white whale. For some collectors it's what they'll spend a lot of time and energy searching for, and eventually more money than most would expect.

The green Golden Eagles are later models, around 92 or so. Earlier ones were grey, and some black ones show up from time to time as well. The big difference between the older and newer ones is how the barrel is held on. Old ones had a spring loaded pin in a front sight, later ones had a big thumb screw which held the barrel more securely.

So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to see it worth around $250-$300, depending on condition.

And the splatmaster (green plastic pistol), I've been seeing those go for $50-$70 alone.
