As the topic states I just bought a Raw milled roundtop 03 viking and it has a hole between the grip frame and the reg where the fsp cut is. It looks drilled strait through the chamber.

I just picked this up on pbn not too long ago hopefully I didn't get ripped off.

The 03 Vikings are supposed to have a hole there. I am not sure what it is for but I remember mine having one too. The 04 however does not have the hole.

Yup same hole! Just scared me for a second there when I first saw it. Thanks for calming my fears down.

Isn't it like a let off valve or something? If your reg doesn't pressureize it leaks through the hole? Not sure, just asking :p

It's the hole to let the piston work freely in the internal lpr, just like the hole in the side of the sidewinder. In fact, the internal lpr is pretty much like a small sidewinder. Air will also leak through that hole if you slice your lpr orings when inserting it back in.
